Why This Work Matters to Me

We all carry experiences that shape who we become. Here’s a piece of mine—the one that brought me here, and the one that fuels the way I coach, listen, and guide others today.

My Story

For much of my life, I’ve been asleep. Not without success, not without impact—but disconnected from my own worth. I held myself back without even realising it.

As a boy, I loved sport—cricket, golf, racing, running. I loved the strategy, the challenge, the magic of making something happen. But I didn’t have the support to pursue it. My family weren’t into sport, so I missed out on coaching, on clubs, on being part of something bigger. I didn’t know how to ask for more. And so I settled. Quietly. Repeatedly.

That pattern shaped me. I became someone who helped others grow, but rarely believed I deserved the same. I worked in leadership and service—building successful teams, driving change, mentoring people who’ve gone on to do incredible things. But I often doubted my own value.

I lifted others up, but kept myself in the shadows.

The evidence of my impact was always there. I created outcomes, inspired change, led with heart and vision. But I couldn’t see it—because I didn’t think I was worth seeing.

That story ends here.

Today, I work with people who are ready to reclaim the parts of themselves they’ve hidden or forgotten. I help them slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with what’s real. We don’t chase status—we build substance. We don’t fix—we remember.

Because what I’ve learned—what I’m still learning—is this:

Your story can change. No matter how long you’ve carried it.

And you don’t have to do it alone.
